Wind dancing or indoor skydiving is a new sport that employs a vertical turbine to generate an air current that allows participants to experience what skydivers experience while they are falling but without the need to carry a parachute. The athletes in wind dancing exploit the physics that govern the falling of bodies through air to perform complex routines. Wind dancing is gaining momentum as a sport, and the Wind Games, an international competition, has been held for the past 4 years in Spain. The video below features the Polish athlete Maja Kuczyńska.
